Back in June, we told you about CyclHope, a huge cycling challenge being undertaken by two exceptionally adventurous and dedicated fundraisers.
On 1st September 2012 the two London-based, non-professional cyclists, Andrea Diotallevi and Stefano Terranova, started out on the colossal challenge of cycling from London to Rome in 20 days. Throughout this time they covered a staggering 1,700 km of land across 5 countries, all to raise money for Body & Soul.
CyclHope aim to raise funds for charities through long-distance cycling events and between them they managed to raise a wonderful total of £707 for Body & Soul. This is an absolutely amazing achievement and we would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Andrea and Stefano for doing such a brilliant job!
We would also like to say express how humbled and honoured we are that CyclHope chose to take on such a massive project on behalf of B&S; so well done guys!
CyclHope are now home in London safe and sound, after completing their journey and making it to Rome successfully.
We wish Stefano and Andrea all the best for their cycling projects in the future and hope that they are recovering well! If you would like to make a donation in recognition of their remarkable achievement, please visit the CyclHope Justgiving page.
