Body & Soul has a record of successful partnerships with funding bodies ranging from the statutory sector to trusts and foundations, companies and individuals.
We responsibly and pro-actively respond to the needs of our members, people living with and closely affected by HIV by:
♥ Regular member-driven needs assessments amongst all age groups
♥ Evidence-based and best practice approaches in our programming and strategy
♥ A diverse volunteer base that ensures our interventions are of high quality and cost-effective
♥ Strategic partnerships with some of the UK’s most respected organisations
Intelligent and informed commissioning and funding capitalises on the strengths of community resources. Body & Soul provides a superior product in a cost-
competitive manner through the incredible human capital present in our member and volunteer population.
This population boasts diverse capabilities, including doctors, lawyers, teachers, psychologists, economists and social workers, all contributing to a cause they feel passionate about. These individuals foster the spirit of inspiration central to Body & Soul’s philosophy.
We respect and respond to members’ needs in a time-sensitive, positive way, enlisting external input to ensure quality services. By promoting quality and innovation we encourage meaningful change in our members’ lives. This is accomplished through clear strategic aims, objectives, and outcomes, as well as intensive monitoring and evaluation at all levels of services and programming, from formation to outcome evaluation.
To ensure that outcome evaluations accurately reflect our impact, we use externally validated tools and instruments as outlined in our Impact Strategy.
The sustainability of our programming depends on commissioners and funders showing their commitment to people living with and closely affected by HIV through sustained psychosocial interventions and community support.
Our commitment to providing integrated, comprehensive and early-intervention support to some of our society’s most vulnerable and marginalised members is at the heart of Body & Soul. We hope you will join us in achieving this.
