Our internship scheme is aimed at dynamic, confident and imaginative individuals looking to gain work experience in fields such as fundraising, volunteer management, frontline support services, campaigning & communications. Whether you’re a recent graduate or someone who’s looking to change career paths, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills at one of the UK’s leading HIV charities.
We’re looking for a range of people who are genuinely enthusiastic and passionate about Body & Soul’s aims and who are committed to learning and personal growth.
From the start, the emphasis will be on “on the job” learning and we’ll provide you with real hands-on experience that will allow you to apply and build your skills in a practical way.
As an intern, you’ll be working on a real project that will make a difference to Body & Soul. You’ll be given a thorough induction to Body & Soul and introduced to all elements of our work by various members of the team.
It’s important to us that you get all the support and guidance you need throughout your internship so we run weekly Intern Skills and Development sessions that give you a deeper insight into the workings of the third sector and have an intern reporting structure so you can keep track of your progress and development whilst you’re here.
To learn more, listen to former intern Laura talking about her internship. Internships are voluntary placements and are therefore unpaid, but travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed. We ask interns to commit to coming in for a minimum of three days per week for three months.
We are currently accepting applications for the following internships:
